Bert Hellinger appointed honorary citizen in Mexico
In Mexico, on the occasion of the visit of Bert and Sophie Hellinger, an initiative was launched to honour Bert Hellinger for his services to humanity and therapy and to appoint him an honorary citizen.
The influences and the improvements in education, economy and families which emanated and emanate from Bert Hellinger are so extensive that the appointment as honorary citizen seemed to be the appropriate means of expressing gratitude. The proposal was accepted unanimously by all members of the government without abstention or rejection
The ceremony took place in the town hall in the presence of the mayor and all ministers. Then there was a celebration. The philharmonic city orchestra and 3 opera singers gave the ceremony a very special touch.
