Peace beginns in the soul
In family constellations, the work of reconciliation begins in the individual soul and in the family. When reconciliation is achieved ther, itcan spread to larger groups and contexts.
In the book, Bert Hellinger inquires into the emotional prerequisites that are necessary for pesce and reconciliation. He finds answers inexamples from historic conflicts between peoples and cultures. But Hellinger also devotes himself to peace among religions, for example, between Christianity and Islam, as well as to peace between victors and vanquished in the Spanish Conquest, and between masters andslaves in Brazil and the United States.
